The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) has developed a survey to identify the perceptions of our community about “advocacy” through the services provided by sign language interpreters.
Through this survey, the NADattempt to determine the parameters of advocacy with language and communications being used by the members of the deaf and hard of hearing community while working with interpreters. This survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. The data collected through this survey will help NAD with its advocacy for interpreting services, and will be shared during its informative trainings about current perspectives held by the members of our community.
Please support us with this effort by completing this survey by July 10, 2011, and then asking your friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances to also complete this survey! Responses are welcome from those who have used sign language interpreting services, including any deaf or hard of hearing individuals, interpreters and their colleagues/families/friends.
