Thank you for committing to present at the 2023 NAD Leadership Training Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico! The purpose of this agreement is to outline your responsibilities. Once you submit your agreement on the bottom of this form, this lets us know that you are ready and willing to make your #NLTC2023 presenting the best experience it can be! RESPONSIBILITY. I understand that presenting at the 2023 NAD Leadership Training Conference is an important responsibility. If I decide that I do not have the appropriate time and energy to devote to this responsibility, I will notify the NAD so they can replace me with another workshop.
PREPARATION. I commit to preparing to make my workshop informative and entertaining for the #NLTC2023 attendees. I also agree to work and communicate with the other presenters in my presentation, panel, or workshop to coordinate this preparation.
ACCESSIBILITY. I commit to using the NAD provided PPT template. The template is designed to be CART-friendly with color, size, and contrast details to ensure accessibility and readability. I also commit to providing image descriptions for any images used in the slides.
FOCUS. I agree that my presentation will adhere to and focus on the topic and description of my workshop session as submitted.
PRESENTER FAQs. I have read and understand the Presenter FAQs.
BADGE PICK UP. I understand that when I arrive at the Hotel Albuquerque, I will need to pick up my conference badge at the NAD Registration Desk at least 30 minutes before my workshop is scheduled to begin.
MATERIALS/HANDOUTS. I agree to email my PowerPoint presentation, image descriptions, and any handouts to [email protected] by August 20th for distribution to all attendees, particularly those that are DeafBlind. I understand that no further changes of my workshop PPT file will be accepted after August 20th.
PRESENTATION RELEASE. I give the NAD permission to videotape my session, take photographs, post on social media, and share presentation materials with #NLTC2023 attendees.
