In the new year, President Jenny shares a summary of the NAD’s response to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Delaware. Thanks to the communities’ input, the ACLU of Delaware took this seriously. We shared our position, which is crystal clear about our values when it comes to deaf children’s right to sign language access. Earlier this month, the NAD Board met at the NAD Headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland for our Board meeting. Information about our upcoming Biennial Conference in Chicago this summer will be released soon. And last but not least, we’re excited to watch the three Deaf performers at the Super Bowl on February 11th!
