Stephanie Hakulin is a Deaf Interpreter and long-time advocate with extensive involvement in Deaf-led organizations at the state and national levels. Her work focuses on community advocacy, equity, and supporting Deaf representation across organizations and public spaces.
She works as a Deaf Interpreter in Massachusetts and has been actively involved in Deaf advocacy for many years. During the current term, she previously served as the elected Vice President of the National Association of the Deaf, contributing to national advocacy efforts and organizational responsibilities.
At the state level, she has served as President of the Massachusetts State Association of the Deaf and continues to be involved in statewide advocacy and community engagement. Her broader involvement includes work with Deaf Women of Massachusetts, the National Deaf People of Color Conference, where she served as Co-Chair, and the Massachusetts Commission on the Deaf, where she served as an Advisory Board Member.
Stephanie’s work reflects sustained involvement in community advocacy, representation, and support for inclusive participation within Deaf-led organizations.
