Haydee Garcia was born in Cuba and emigrated as an adult to the US in 2000. While attending Gallaudet University, her achievements earned her the honor of being the student speaker at the 2007 commencement ceremony. She founded a tour company, Go Haydee Tours, which hosts deaf groups on tours through Cuba. She has been working for Sorenson since 2008 and is presently their Sales Representative.

Carmen Aguilar
Carmen Aguilar is Ecuadorian / US Citizen, Founder/President/Deaf Interpreter/Deaf Services Advocate/Deaf Mentor. Founder/President of IDLA (USA) & FENASEC (Ecuador). Advocacy: NCID, FITE CIL (USA) & Federal National for the Deaf (FENASEC of Ecuador). Born in Ecuador, immigrated to the USA in 1989 later became a US citizen. First job was interpreting services for the Deaf through American Sign Language (ASL) both in Spanish and English in Latino community. Also instructed parents whose children are Deaf to communicate in ASL. Assisted & instructed Deaf adults to become permanent residents (Green Cards) and US citizens. Currently working at Motorola and proud grandma of three boys.
